Meetings are generally held in the Oaks from 5.00pm until 6.00pm with tea/coffee and biscuits available for a charge of £5.00. Books are suggested by all and chosen via online survey. This is a diverse group of readers with wide-ranging tastes, so opinions often vary. Numbers attending range from 10 to 20, with larger groups split into separate tables.


The Afternoon Book Club meet on the third Thursday of each month to discuss two titles which share a connection, whether theme, setting, author, or genre.
